Raul Lee is a DJ and producer known for hypnotic, precision-built progressive and techno sets that speak without explanation.

In 2023, he launched Sync Primitive Recording Company, a label focused on forward-thinking electronic music. His weekly podcast, OUTPOST, is approaching its 100th broadcast and regularly charts on Mixcloud’s global Top 50. Built like a transmission—cinematic, deliberate, structurally sharp—OUTPOST also features guest mixes from regional talent, including both seasoned DJs and emerging names.

He’s also a practising litigator, appearing in both civil and criminal courtrooms throughout Malaysia. Alongside that, he works on drug policy reform and has spoken on BFM’s The Breakfast Grille about Malaysian drug laws, sentencing, and where it’s all headed. He’s also spoken publicly on autism and ADHD in the context of mental health. If time permits, he plans to complete his MSc in Applied Neuroscience, which he began in 2022—to settle a few personal arguments.

Sometimes it’s legal. Sometimes it’s mental. Sometimes, it’s both. Most people want answers. Raul ensures you ask the right questions. He’s less interested in the stories we tell about our pain— and more in the systems that keep them running.
